What is the registration fee for the 2026 conference?
Registration fees vary based on membership status, availability, and whether or not you choose to attend in-person or online. A discounted rate is offered to the first 25 Premium (Paid)ALV Members. Once the 25 discounted registrations have been claimed the discounted option will no longer be available. In-person attendance will be limited to only 50 participants, so book sooner than later if you want to ensure yourself a seat in California.

How do I become a Premium member of Advancing Legal Video?
Premium ALV membership is open to all legal professionals and videographers. You can apply online through our membership portal. Premium members get exclusive access to specialized educational content, admission to participate in our community forum of industry specialists, marketing tools, career advancing material, and discounts on conference registrations.

Are there networking opportunities during the conference?
Absolutely. We will provide networking social events throughout the conference to facilitate professional connections while having some fun meeting new people and hopefully making new friends in the process.

What educational sessions are included in the conference?
Our program has been designed to highlight emerging legal video technology, industry standard considerations, advanced production techniques, business growth, and in-depth discussions by expert panelists.

Is there a deadline to register?
Yes, registration will end when the limited seating has been filled or September 2nd, 2026 whichever comes first. Discounted group rate room reservations will end on TBD.

Will participation be eligible for NCRA CLVS CEU credits?
Yes! We're pleased to announce that the NCRA has approved up to 1.175 CLVS CEUs for attendees of ALV's Shape the Future Conference. If you're a Certified Legal Video Specialist (CLVS), attending the conference allows you to earn enough continuing education credits to satisfy your entire three-year CEU requirement (1.0 CEUs)—with additional credits beyond the minimum required. These CEUs are available whether you attend in-person or virtually, giving you the flexibility to participate in the format that works best for you.

Is Advancing Legal Video associated with CLVS or AGCV?
No. While we all operate within the same universe of Legal Video education, CLVS & AGCV are primarily focused on certification. ALV on the other hand is a non-profit organization of legal videographers for legal videographers. We are committed to developing a thriving community of support, advanced education, modern up-to-date industry standards, career growth assistance, and advocating for the benefit of all legal videographers, not our own financial gain. The organization was born out of the the love we have for our profession, a deep rooted devotion we share for proudly producing an accurate and professional high quality product/service, and the ideology that when we come together as a community we are stronger than any one person or faceless corporation.
