Shape The Future 2026 Presents:

JON WALTON.jpg
JON WALTON

Jon Walton is the Owner of LitPro Tech LLC, an author, and a nationally experienced trial technology consultant with more than 25 years of experience helping litigation teams leverage technology to tell powerful and persuasive stories in the courtroom.
Jon’s journey began behind the camera as a legal videographer, where curiosity, dedication, and a desire to understand the entire litigation process transformed his career path. What started with recording depositions evolved into mastering video synchronization, exhibit management, courtroom presentation technology, trial graphics, and high-stakes trial support.
Over his career, Jon has supported more than 200 trials, arbitrations, and legal proceedings, working alongside some of the nation’s leading trial attorneys and litigation teams. During his 14 years at Latham & Watkins LLP, Jon served as a Trial Technology Consultant supporting complex litigation matters, developing advanced courtroom workflows, and helping attorneys present evidence clearly and effectively before judges, juries, and arbitration panels.
Jon is also the author of “Paper to Pixels: The Evolution of Courtroom Technology and Its Impact on Winning Cases,” published in 2024. The book explores the transformation of the modern courtroom—from paper exhibits and traditional trial preparation to digital evidence presentation, advanced litigation technology, and the tools that help attorneys communicate more effectively in front of today’s judges and juries.
Through years of experience in the “hot seat,” Jon learned that successful trial technology requires much more than technical knowledge. It requires preparation, anticipation, communication, professionalism, and the ability to remain calm when everything is on the line.
Today, through LitPro Tech LLC, Jon provides premier trial presentation support, courtroom technology consulting, deposition video services, exhibit management, and trial strategy support. He is also passionate about mentoring the next generation of legal professionals looking to expand their skills and transition into trial technology.
